Theodore Herzl by Menashe Kadishman is observing his living dream, a Jewish National Home in Israel. As he stated in his book “Old New Land”: “If you will it, it is no dream”. Sketches of buildings and living towns are coming from the water and Magen Davids symbolize ideological power of happening. The painting transmits personal magnetism of Herzl and his passion, that helped a young editor of Vienna’s Neue Freie Presse to fundamentally transform Jewish history.

The artist is famous for hundreds of portraits of sheep each one different from another. Also, as a sculpturer he beautifully conveyed the motion and the harmony of natural forms.
