Abstract artworks by Amit Cabessa

Please view details of abstract artworks by Amit Cabessa presented in Kings gallery

Amit Cabessa was born in 1977 in Israel in Kibbutz Magal. Nowadays his studio is situated in the center of this picturesque place. There the time seems to flow with a different speed. The painter has described his art and the life perception: “by realizing a defined form I feel myself released from one identity to another, external, object, and from there into nothingness, into a void, into everything”. Especially he analizes notions of disappearance and emergence. Also, he tries to transmit the connection of nature and spirituality.

The artist received his education at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem.

Particularly, abstraction dominates in Cabessa’s recent works. He finds inspiration in graffitis and naive art, seeking to convey the essence of things.

“Abstract” By Amit Cabessa

Kings gallery has his three abstract works. The first one reminds the depiction of a forest, full of incredible plants and inhabitants. Artist’s bright pallette conveyes the dream-like world. Furthermore, magical giant animal in the middle can be guessed only gradually. Due to the free childish manner of the painting, the artist can be exempt from all rules and patterns.

“Abstract Purple” By Amit Cabessa

The second artwork has an accent on a purple color. Volume strokes resemble a surface of a wall, with graffitis and, also, with strange flowers and ornaments.

The third painting shows a multicolored spot. It seems to be a bundle of energy, that produce or absorbs matter. Moreover, one can recognize familiar figures and objects inside of it.
