Menashe Kadishman is a famous Israeli artist, who often challenged and surprised audiences. “The shepherd”
Kadishman‘s works are full of references to Holy books. The images of grazing flocks and shepherds appear in his art due to the experience as a shepherd in a kibbutz in his youth. A kibbutz is a collective Israeli community, traditionally agrarian. Sculpture “The shepherd” impresses with its subtlety. All figures are connected and form a unified streamlined black creature. “The flutist”
