Reuven Rubin “A double portrait of two boys”

Please check details of “A double portrait of two boys” By Reuven Rubin

Two beautiful blue-eyed boys are looking attentively at the spectators. They see through, fascinating with their purity and sincerity. Reuven Rubin admires the youth and carefreeness. The painting gives an impression, that the children were seen accidentally. Boys’ faces light up, the poses are free. Especially their whole appearance involve us in the magical world of dreams and vivid bright impressions. They are sitting on a toy tiger being ready to start a new journey.

The boy in the right has put one arm around his companion and holds the small figure of giraffe with another one. Behind the heros we can discern a calm landscape in the twilight. Interstingly, all the light in the artwork comes from the boys creating the sense of fabulousness.
