As Mark Rothko believed, color evoked emotions and could tap into basic feelings. For Yaacov Agam it is important to involve spectators into the art or performance and make them influence the artistic creation.

Geometric mirror

This very special artwork provides the ability to see the mirror supplemented by the artist. In particular, asymmetrical transformations of the lines’ width and colors create the variety light lumens. Intensity of the lines predicts the facial expressions.

Goemetrics

Geometrics combines and divides classical geometrical figures. The painting has an effect of a simple visual illusion, as the space seems to be distorted. Moreover, it appears to be in slight motion. Especially the artwork consists of several layers with different figures, that intersect.
