“Moon over olives, Jerusalem”
“Moon over olives” illuminates the view on Jerusalem. Everything shimmers with beautiful tints and enchants spectators. In the distance the magical Holy City appears. Patterns in the blue sky resemble the paintings by Van Gogh.
Also, check our block about “Jerusalem view” by Ernst Huber, this depiction has an entirely different mood.
“Before Departure, Old Jaffa”
In “Before Departure, Old Jaffa” Zoe Sever painted the sky gold. Rays of the sun light up the seashore. Especially, the artwork radiates warmth. Many authors have found inspiration in Tel-Aviv landscapes, we have prepared for you our selection of artworks.
“Jerusalem Mountains”
“Jerusalem Mountains” are covered with greenery. Sever conveys trees miroculously. In particular, they seem to be crystalline. Besides, there is a feeling, that light comes out from the painting. The only motion comes from pure white sheep in the forefront, that are peacefully grazing. These animals have become one of the symbols of the Land of Israel. Inter alia, Menashe Kadishman became famous due to the sheep portraits.
In addition, our blog about “Judean hills” by Jossi Stern might be a logical continuation. Interestingly, the artist here has showed the view through the prism of time.
