“Naga” by Sayed Haider Raza, a well-known Indian painter. The painting with concentric circles and geometric patterns has a reference to the Tantric ideologies of Hinduism and Buddhism. The color selection creates a special mood of the work.
The artist also created paintings of landscapes and urban scenes. Raza’s works are in the collections of the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, the San Jose Museum of Art, the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, and the National Gallery of Art in New Delhi.
