“The old friends” by Israeli artist Yona Mach. The couple of old friends standing under massive building, that pressure them. The main grey color reflects senescence, sadness and anguish. Their glances are exhausted and fading. The only people in the abandoed place who merge with enormous buildings, these buildings are shown as alive, almost in the motion. Painitng by Yona Mach were inspired by Surrealism of the 1930s and Impressionism. She explored and developed a kind of magic realism.
