“Jerusalem view” by Ernst Huber
"Jerusalem view" by Austrian painter Ernst Huber. The painting with a deep perspective presents the view downward on the city in the motion. We share the way with natives. The artist was born in 1895 and was one of Austria most important landcape artistis in the 1920's and 30's. He traveled over southern Europe, North Africa, South America and painted using mostly watercolors. In 1928, Huber became a member and regular annual contributor of Vienna Secession and, in 1949, was awarded the title of professor. Works by Ernst Huber are held by the Galerie Belvedere, the Leopold Museum, the Graphische Sammlung Albertina in Vienna and by the Oberösterreichisches Landesmuseum in Linz.
