Chasid portrait

“Chasid portrait” by Israeli contemporary artist Ora Nissim. The old man with the deep penetrating look. He is flying in his prayer. Using a combination of stains and paints, Nissim creates flaming, luminous background. We focus on the eyes of the chasid, his thoughts surround him as flashes on the background. The artist has described her art: she paints "Judaism today and in the future", not "Judaism of the past". In the colorful painting she shows the joy of the G-ds worship.
