Natan Pernick was born in 1980 in “Kfar Mordechai”, a village in central Israel. He started painting at the age of 14. During his youth he also practiced mural painting.Between the years 2002-2004 Pernick lived and worked in New York as an apprentice at the studio of the renowned artist Mark Kostabi. From 2004 to 2008 he attended the department of “visual communication” at the Bezalel academy of art and design. During his studies he began showing his work at various art galleries in Jerusalem. In 2009 Pernick participated at the “Artishock” – young art initiative, as well as partook at a group exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London for the BP portrait award.In 2010 Pernick held his first solo exhibition called “Opening Statements” in Tel Aviv.
