On the Way to Jaffa

A Bezalel oil stencil on velvet, 38X51 cm’. on the way to Jaffa  c.-1920. One of the typical hand works that were done at the Bezalel Applied-art work shop. The design is the well known silhouette of Jaffa as was presented in numerous 19th century paintings, a characteristic presentation of  the Palestinian native walking his camel towards Jaffa port.
